Bjørge business cuts trio of coatings deals

A business of Norwegian offshore fire-fighting pump supplier Bjørge has penned a trio of contracts worth a combined 45 million kroner ($9 million) with Aker Solutions, Heli-One and Odda for the supply of advanced surface treatment for offshore equipment.

Bjørge business Norwegian Coating Technology will treat the surfaces of Heli-One helicopter parts against salt water corrosion.

In separate deals, the company will also coat Aker Solutions and NLI Odda sub-sea equipment.
