Norway-based offshore equipment maker Bjørge has reported a 30-million-kroner ($4.8 million) contract for firefighting water pumps and seawater pumps to an unnamed offshore installation outside of Norway.
It's the second firewater pump order in a week for the Oslo-headquartered outfit's business Bjørge Eureka. Last week, a contract with ConocoPhillips for the repair, overhaul and testing Ekofisk-area pumps was a 40-million-kroner ($6.3 million) assignment.
The new order is for pumps plus a diesel drive that'll be built in southern Norway for delivery in early 2010.
