Dana, Venture to tie back Grouse

Venture Production releases interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2006-Spotlight

Venture Production and 50-50 partner Dana Petroleum have tested the Grouse oil field in the North Sea at flows of over 10,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Well 21/19-12z exceeded expectations, and operator Venture will speed Grouse’s development into a sub-sea tieback to the Kittiwake platform by 2009.

A statement said satellite-field production into a new Kittiwake-Forties pipeline is expected to 2015.
