Iteration, Cyries form $1B gas producer

Iteration Energy and Cyries Energy forms strategic combination

A new, billion-dollar oil company has been formed in Canada with the announcement late Monday of a merger between Iteration Energy Ltd. and Cyries.

Cyries will become a business of Iteration once Cyries shareholders accept the offer of C$1.475 per share.

A new mixed management and board will run a company with about 19,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day in production, mostly gas, plus about 750,000 acres of undeveloped land in the Deep Basin and Peace River Arch areas of Western Canada.
