Shares in key Norwegian floating production suppliers surged on Thursday, after trading on oilfield-focused Oslo burse had intensified by 6.43 percent before lunctime in the Norwegian capital.
Nexus Floating Production was trading 50.29 percent higher at lunchtime, and was the apparent leader. Also making remarkable strides were Fred Olsen production (up 9.57 percent), Aker Floating Production (up 11.11 percent) and Sevan Marine, which rose a second day and was up around 10 percent.
Prosafe Production was also up over seven percent to round out the floating production companies.
Oilfield engineering outfits Acergy (up 7.3 percent) , Aker Solutions (11.38 percent) were also up along with other offshore construction peers in a second wild day of gains.
Rig-owning companies. too, were also making strong advances. Petrolia Drilling was up 14 percent, Seadrill 17 percent and Fred Olsen Energy 11.76 percent with heavy trading continuing after lunch.
