Oceanteam fortunes up on wind

Oceanteam

Norway-based offshore cable-layer Oceanteam had signed a contract with E.ON Netz of Germany to help download the power from Alpha Ventus wind park in offshore Germany.

The work, worth an estimated €10 million, is due to start late in 2008. It entails laying and trenching 60 kilometres of sub-sea cable to connect the wind park to the grid.
