PDVSA asks SCAN to $70M shoot

Venezuelen state champion Petroleos de Venezuela has hired Oslo-based offshore survey outfit SCAN Geophysical for a $70 million “shoot” in the country’s prospective oil play Dragon Norte.

The survey company will acquire seismic over a 3,300-square-kilometre offshore area, making it the largest-ever in the SCAN’s history.
