Reliance adds $235M to Aker Solutions order

India’s biggest company, Reliance Indutries, has added $235 million to an order for Aker Solutions to install and coommission the MA-D6 sub-sea project’s Phase 2 gas export system and production wells.

The award Aker Solutions business Aker Installation FP adds to a contract for a complete production system in 2007 in the cyclone-prone Bay of Bengal.

Second-stage installation is set to wrap up in second-quarter 2009.

The 2nd phase installation is scheduled for completion by Q2 2009.
