Russian oil company Tatneft has reported its reserves of oil have swelled by 146.9 million barrels in a year and now stand at well over over 1.14 billion bbls.
Adhering to (SPE) standards, American-based auditors Miller & Lents Ltd. confirmed the talley of proven and probable reserves. The reserves talley pointed to $148.73 billion in future revenues from the stockpile proved oil and gas.
In a statement Wednesday, the company said modern technology helped produce record volumes in 2007, mostly in Tatarstan, where viscous bitumen oilfields have begun to produce oil.
Tatneft could aslo report its gas reserves reached 452 billion cubic feet by 1 January 2008.
