StatoilHydro spuds new well at Ragnarrock field

West Epsilon

Drilling operations at the Ragnarrock field in Production License 265 started February 22, 2009.

The well 16/2-5 is in proximity to the recent discoveries at the Ragnarrock field in the wells 16/2-3 and -4.

The drilling operation is being carried out with the jackup West Epsilon.

StatoilHydro is operator and Det norske holds a 20 percent interest in the license.

The result of the drilling will be anounced by NPD.
