Subsea 7 confirms loss of employee on Air France flight

Subsea 7 regrets to confirm that one of its employees, Graham Gardner, Master of the Lochnagar pipelay & construction vessel, was on board the Air France Flight AF 447 which was reported missing on Monday, June 1, 2009.

Mr. Gardner's family has been informed of the incident and Subsea 7 is in regular contact with them and with the relevant authorities.

Mel Fitzgerald, CEO of Subsea 7, said, "Our immediate priority is to provide support to Graham's family and his colleagues during this very difficult time. Graham is a well respected and highly regarded employee of Subsea 7 who has made a valuable contribution to the company over many years. Our deepest thoughts are with his family."
