Swala Energy launches 2D Seismic on Tanzania EARS license

Swala Energy in Tanzania

Swala Energy Limited commences the 2D seismic acquisition programme (programme) over the Kilosa Basin in the Kilosa-Kilombero licence in Southern Tanzania. The work will be carried out by Polaris International.

Swala’s 65% owned subsidiary Swala Oil and Gas (Tanzania) Limited and joint venture partner Otto Energy will acquire approximately 100km of 2D seismic over the coming weeks and the data will be processed as the survey progresses. The programme is designed to identify the main structural lineation in the basins and has the potential to identify structural leads for follow-up infill seismic and/or possible drilling.
