Gary Smart- Tendeka

Tendeka has teamed up with Smart Fibres and Viking Completion Technology FZCo as the company looks to enhance its service offering and access new technologies.

An exclusive agreement with UK-based Smart Fibres gives Tendeka unique access to the company’s full upstream oil and gas sector product range, including the innovative SmartCell optical sensing technology that offers a range of pressure and temperature monitoring solutions. Formed in 1998, Smart Fibres has established an impressive track record in the pipeline integrity and downhole monitoring sectors.

A non-exclusive agreement with UAE-based Viking allows Tendeka to utilise the company’s extensive product line of upper completion technologies further extending Tendeka's completion solutions portfolio. Formed in 1997, Viking specialises in the design and manufacture of oilfield completion equipment and intervention tools.

This enhanced product range, combined with Tendeka’s existing technology portfolio, will allow the company to offer advanced integrated completion solutions which maximise reservoir recovery, reduce uncertainty and optimise production.

Gary Smart, Tendeka’s chief operating officer, said: “Formalising our relationships with Smart Fibres and Viking Completion Technology will be extremely beneficial to our clients. Both companies have an impressive suite of industry-leading technologies which complement and add further diversity to our existing portfolio. Combining this with our technical expertise means we can offer a wide range of completion components, providing a tailored solution for each individual well requirement.”
