The Gulf of Mexico and Houston, Texas, have long been associated with the oil and gas industry. With opportunities to do business in these regions opening up, particularly in Mexico, the importance of financial and tax compliance has recently come into sharp focus in the North East.

To ensure that the oil and gas sector is fully appraised of current regulations, and as a member of global accountancy network, PKF International, Johnston Carmichael has teamed up with the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce (AGCC) to host an event which will offer essential tax advice for businesses working in these regions.

Frank Landreneau, PKF Texas director of international tax, and Octavio Lara, managing partner of Mexican PKF firm Grupo Lana, will bring their expertise to the table and present at a breakfast seminar on Tuesday, 18 November at AGCC’s offices in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.
