Reflex Marine, specialists in marine personnel transfer, recently held an open day in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for clients at their newly established Middle East Accredited Service Centre (ASC). EnerMech has been appointed as the first ASC and distributor in the region, for the FROG and TORO transfer devices, and they jointly celebrated the opening of the new facility by inviting industry professionals to take a look around.

Dean Mayall, MEC Operations Manager at EnerMech said: "We are the accredited service company for Reflex Marine and we are delighted to provide units, rentals, parts, training, service and maintenance opportunities, to new and existing customers across the Middle East region. The new facility in Abu Dhabi provides a state-of-the-art area to deliver accredited services and maintenance to our clients."

The open day was well-attended by senior personnel from the Middle East Oil and Gas business sector. It gave guests an ideal opportunity to view EnerMech equipment, and discuss business opportunities within the EnerMech service portfolio, whilst showcasing the FROG product line. Guests were also able to see for themselves the benefits of this particular type of crane-based crew transfer device and to have their questions answered by the experts.

Grant Wintle, Reflex Marine’s Business Manager for the Middle East, said “EnerMech have hosted a great event that has really benefitted us and those that attended. It has introduced us to new clients and we have received interest and orders as a result. I’m very pleased with how the event has gone and we will be holding similar events in Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the near future.”

As part of the Reflex Marine commitment to improving customer service and support they are in the process of rolling out a global ASC programme, for their transfer devices, to ensure uniformly high standards of maintenance and safety for their clients. The ASCs will provide operators who use the FROG and TORO with a regional focal point and greatly improve the local availability of parts, and approved trainers and services. The EnerMech ASC in Dubai will significantly increase the level of support available to new and existing clients in the region. Reflex Marine have since established an ASC in Norway and is looking forward to establishing further ASCs in the UAE, Canada, the Caspian region, Singapore, the US and Brazil.
