An Aberdeen and London-based oil and gas engineering consultancy has added to its team as demand for its process and studies expertise continues to grow.

With the appointment of Paul Hardwick and Barrie Marsden, Theon Limited, now employs 40 highly experienced full and part-time process engineers as part of its workforce of more than 100.

Paul brings over 30 years of industrial experience to the company with more than 20 of those spent in the oil and gas industry. He has worked as Lead Process Engineer for a large number of upstream oil and gas projects ranging from upgrades to new field developments.

Over a 25 year career in process engineering Barrie’s experience includes work in onshore gas processing, LNG, offshore FPSO, refining, petrochemicals and industrial plants.

Since its launch last year Theon, which has offices in Westhill and London, has rapidly established a strong reputation for delivering high quality process and studies capability for brownfield and greenfield developments. Generating more than £2million, projects in these areas for a range of leading energy industry clients represent almost a third of the consultancy’s current work.
