TNK-BP says that Alexei Guriev has been appointed Chief Auditor of the TNK-BP group of companies.

In his latest position, Alexei Guriev has been the head of the Internal Audit Division of Severstal, an international metals and mining company with assets in Russia, the US and Italy.

Mr. Guriev also has a seven-year experience of working in the oil and gas industry, including senior positions in the internal audit and controls of the Yukos-Rosprom group.

Alexei Guriev graduated from the Financial Academy under the auspices of the government of the Russian Federation and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
