Penspen, a global provider of engineering and project management services to the energy industry, has announced two new appointments at its CEE, which has been in operation since January. Tom Agbabi will join in the area of Field development and Peter Falconer will provide Asset Integrity expertise to the centre.

The CEE is a virtual environment that provides users around the globe with support from Penspen’s industry experts whose skills are critical to global success in engineering. The team will work to provide the best possible solutions to Penspen’s clients around the world.

Dr Tom Agbabi joined Penspen six years ago and started at the CEE in April. A PhD. and a Chartered Petroleum Engineer, Tom brings 25 years’ experience in several technical roles to the centre. Dr Agbabi will manage engineering studies for Penspen clients, including field development studies, conceptual studies, FEEDs, capital estimates and proposal support.

Peter Falconer is a Chartered Naval Architect and brings 30 years’ of global experience, in the field. Peter has worked in all areas of Asset Integrity Management, including offshore, onshore, pressure systems, pipelines, subsea, etc. His roles in the oil and gas industry include a range of positions from design, analysis and management to operations and decommissioning. Falconer will be supporting clients with asset integrity studies, asset life extension and decommissioning in his new role with the company.

The two appointments join the current team of, Brendan Kelly, Materials and Corrosion and Dennis Keen, Asset integrity Management Systems.
