Valiant Petroleum reports 26th licensing round awards

Valiant Petroleum - West Don field

Valiant Petroleum plc reports that following the recent announcement by the Department for Energy and Climate Change, it has been provisionally awarded the following blocks in the 26th Seward Licensing Round:

Northern North Sea

Block: 211/11a Valiant Interest: 100% Operator: Valiant

Block: 3/17 Valiant Interest: 33% Operator: Apache Partners: Lundin, Valiant

Central North Sea

Block: 22/18b (Split) Valiant Interest: 33% Operator: PA Resources Partners: First Oil, Valiant

Blocks: 30/6b, 30/11a & 30/12d Valiant Interest: 50% Operator: Valiant Partner: Apache

Blocks: 30/17c, 30/17d, 30/19b, 30/22, 30/23 & 30/24 (Split) Valiant Interest: 100% Operator: Valiant

West of Shetlands

Blocks: 204/14c & 204/19c Valiant Interest: 100% Operator: Valiant

Blocks: 204/21, 204/22b, 204/23b (Split) & 204/26 (Part) Valiant Interest: 100% Operator: Valiant

These traditional licenses are all located in-and-around Valiant's core areas of focus and further details regarding the key prospects contained on the blocks will be provided as part of its operational update to be provided in the coming weeks.
