Vortex Resources Corp. says that due to its recent success in drilling natural gas wells in Crockett County, Texas and its anticipated expansion, it has retained Trenergy Development LLC to assist Vortex in its development plans in West Texas and assessing its options in the extensive Barnett Shale property on which it is conducting due diligence.

The principal of Trenergy is Mr. Jason Lacewell who has extensive background in field development in general and the Barnett Shale in particular. Trenergy Development LLC has 12 years of supervisory experience in petroleum production, completions, drilling and field operations. Trenergy brings a wealth of knowledge in downhole and surface engineering, log and basic geologic interpretation, gas well dewatering, field automation systems, field facilities construction and capital deployment. Mr. Lacewell has engineered for Pacesetter Energy, Inc in which he led a group developing a $125 million Permian Basin program, while also managing Pacesetter's non operated Barnett Shale interests with Devon Energy. Mr. Lacewell has also managed 125 MMCFD gas production and later led the sale of $2.2 billion of Chief assets to Devon Energy and Crosstex Energy. Other projects included those with Cornerstone Natural Gas Engineering, LP, Republic Energy Inc. and Marathon Oil Co.

“We are very optimistic that with the assistance and guidance of Trenergy, we will be in a position to implement an optimal development plan for our Crockett County program and better assess our movement into the exploration of Barnett Shale. It is this kind of success and expansion that continues to add shareholder value," stated CEO of Vortex, Yossi Attia.
