Wellbore Energy Solutions has acquired Jackal Services.

At the time of the acquisition, Jackal Services changed its name to Environmental Drilling Solutions, LLC (EDS) to better reflect EDS's zero discharge rig containment systems which reduce the environmental impact associated with oil-based drilling fluids, including direct drive vacuum systems and state-of-the-art cuttings handling/processing equipment and services.

"This is a great opportunity for us to diversify our service portfolio," said Kirby Arceneaux, Wellbore Energy Solutions chief executive officer. "Like Wellbore, Environmental Drilling Solutions is comprised of an experienced management team of specialists dedicated to applying innovative rig site solutions for clients."

The founders of Jackal, Chad Hollier and Joey Templet, will remain as shareholders and as an integral part of the EDS management and marketing team.
