WellDog

WellDog has appointed decorated entrepreneur Sandy Hunter as a non-executive director. Sandy is currently partner at Ambrose Resources LLC, which operates and develops shale oil fields in Texas and Louisiana. Prior, he was a key member of the management buy-out team that led to a US$200 million public listing and US$3 billion sale of Expro to Goldman Sachs subsidiary Candover.

'With his pioneering downhole gauge background and his ongoing U.S. shale operational experience, Sandy is ideally skilled to help guide our company's growth as we both upscale our Australian downhole gauge business and enter the U.S. shale market,' said John M. Pope, president and CEO of WellDog. 'He brings to the company a rare blend of operating savvy and technology entrepreneurship, and his active role in the U.S shale boom is assisting us in opening that market to our downhole gauge and gas testing technologies. And he's a true entrepreneur, which fits well with our company culture and values.'
