A North-east oil and gas drilling tool supply company has cemented its place as a market leader by becoming the first service company in the world to obtain approval under the Fearnley Procter NS-1™ Accreditation programme as a rental facility for drilling equipment.
The Hunting Equipment Management Services (HEMS) operation was put through a rigorous approval process designed to scrutinise its systems to ensure the drilling and well completion equipment supplied by the firm to the industry, where specified, met the NS-1™ standard.
Irene Holden, general manager of Aberdeen-based HEMS, said: “Obtaining the NS-1™ certification is a feather in the cap of every member of our team and reinforces our commitment to quality and precision.
“Gaining approval required us to demonstrate the robust nature of our procedures and the practical application of those policies. It is very much a team effort that ensures our stringent quality management system enables us to deliver quality reliable products.
“As a business we pride ourselves on the reliability of our service and our products, which are all of the highest spec and standard. To have this official accreditation is recognition of the hard work that has been put in by everyone at HEMS.”
