Wood Group GTS has been awarded multiple 10-year contracts for operations, maintenance and management services for three wind power generation projects developed and owned by subsidiaries of Cielo Wind Power, LP, of Austin, Texas.
Wood Group GTS will provide wind turbine services for the Texico Wind Ranch(R), Lubbock Wind Ranch and an additional project in the final stages of development. These agreements cover three Vestas V-47 660kW wind turbines at Texico and three Samsung Heavy Industries 2.5MW wind turbines at Lubbock. The completed development project will have approximately 34 wind turbines of greater than 2 MW output each.
