Peak Oil & Gas appoints new Non-Executive Director

Peak Oil and Gas Limited (Peak)

Peak Oil & Gas Limited has appointed Mr Peter Armitage as an independent non-executive director with effect from 17 August 2015.

Mr Armitage is an experienced public company director, having served on the boards of numerous oil and gas and resources companies over more than 20 years. These directorships include the ASX-listed companies Strategic Energy Resources Limited, Oroya Mining Limited and Bass Strait Oil Company Limited.

Mr Armitage is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Jeff Steketee and Mr Jim Durrant have resigned as directors of Peak effective 17 August, in order to pursue other interests. The Board thanks them for their service to the Company and wishes them well in their future endeavours.

The Peak Board is now comprised of Mr Geoffrey Albers, MS Rae Clark and Mr Armitage.
