Ingrain adds two industry experts to management team

Ingrain, the digital rock physics lab, declares two additions to the company’s senior management team. Marcus Ganz joins Ingrain as Chief Operating Officer in the Houston headquarters, while Gary Sinclair comes to Ingrain’s Abu Dhabi office as Regional Manager, Middle East and North Africa.

“Ingrain is delighted to have Marcus and Gary on board because they bring a tremendous depth of operating experience to our rapidly growing company,” said CEO Henrique Tono.

Marcus Ganz joins Ingrain after 29 years of international experience at WesternGeco and Schlumberger. As COO, Ganz will be responsible for the successful delivery of Ingrain's service offerings as the company expands internationally. Ganz's experience spans many countries and regions around the globe. As a member of the executive team managing WesternGeco over a period of four years he was VP of the Land product line and later VP & Regional Manager responsible for all activities in South America. From 2006 to 2008 he was the General Manager of Schlumberger Oilfield Services for Argentina and Chile. During this period he served on the Schlumberger Ltd. Business Conduct Group, a rotating team of senior managers responsible for the worldwide implementation and monitoring of the Schlumberger Code of Ethics. Ganz holds a BSc. in physics from the University of Southampton, UK.

Gary Sinclair will be responsible for the launch of Ingrain's digital rock physics lab in Abu Dhabi and scaling up Ingrain’s services in the Middle East and North Africa. Sinclair has 30 years experience in the core analysis industry, having worked with Core Laboratories, Fugro Robertson and ResLab, (Weatherford Laboratories). He has been responsible for core analysis laboratories in the UK, the Netherlands, Norway, Egypt, and in the Middle East. His major areas of expertise include operations management, optimum core analysis study design, data evaluation and interpretation, project management, training and quality assurance. For the past 12 years he has been working exclusively in the Middle East as Regional Manager for ResLab where he was responsible for the set up and management of core analysis laboratories in Abu Dhabi, Oman and Kuwait.
