SPD Limited, part of the Petrofac Group, has secured a contract from Zennor Petroleum to provide well design and well construction management services, to support the Finlaggan appraisal well which is located in the Central Sector of the North Sea.

The contract - awarded as a result of competitive tender - commenced last month. Petrofac's highly experienced well management team is responsible for executing the planning and operational phases and will manage the end-to-end process within a six month schedule. This will involve detailed design and planning, procurement, subcontractor management and the execution of the appraisal well operations.
