EMGS charters Siem newbuild, as survey grows

Siem Offshore announces charter contract for PSV

Survey outfit EMGS will charter Siem Offshore’s unbuilt platform supply vessel "Siem Mollie" and re-charter the Sasha until 2010 for three years for a day rate of $28,500, it was understood Monday.

EMGS is growing its fleet of electro-magnetic surveyors for seabed logging. The Norway-based outfit now has five vessels “in place” plus two more to being built for the service in 2008.
