Azabache Energy Inc. announces that all resolutions put to shareholders at Azabache's annual and special meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held today were duly passed. At the Meeting, shareholders approved the appointment of the proposed directors of the Company, including the appointment of Mr. Rodger Gray as a new director of the Company.

Mr. Gray is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Toll Cross Securities Inc., a Toronto based, full service broker-dealer specializing in the junior resource sector. Mr. Gray has over twenty years of experience as a stockbroker and officer of an IDA member firm. Mr. Gray previously acted as a Director and Vice-President, Investment Banking - Institutional Equities with First Associates Investments Inc. and prior thereto, as President of St. James Securities Inc. Mr. Gray is a graduate of Laurentian University.
