BIRNS, Inc. has received a Certificate of Registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) stating that the new BIRNS logo has now been officially registered as a trademark. The ISO 9001:2008-certified global leader in the design and manufacture of lines of high performance lights, connectors, penetrators and cable assemblies for the planet’s most demanding environments submitted its application one year ago, to protect its five decades of overall brand equity and ongoing reputation as an industry innovator.

The application was searched, reviewed and thus determined to be in compliance with the stringent regulations prescribed by the USPTO. “We are thrilled to receive the registered trademark for our new company logo,” says Amy Brown, Director of Corporate Communications for BIRNS. “BIRNS has a long history of contributing exceptional products in the highly competitive subsea and nuclear power markets, and we’re excited about moving forward with the new branding for our company that reflects the level of sophistication for which our products and services are known.”
