Coreworx Inc. has announced that their interface management solution is being implemented by a major oil company on a project in West Africa. The USD 12 Billion project includes the construction of a new floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facility with an expected peak production of 225,000 barrels of oil per day.

Implementation of Coreworx Interface Management began early January 2017 and will be used initially during FEED to enable the management of interfaces between FEED contractors in the US and West Africa. The Coreworx solution will help manage technical deliverables across all project disciplines during FEED and then transfer all interface information and responsibilities to the execution phase where responsibility will shift to the project’s EPC contractors. In addition to helping the team manage internal project interfaces, Coreworx will also ensure the project is in full compliance with local Nigerian content laws.

“Coreworx solutions have been a tool of choice for major offshore projects for the last 10 years. We understand the complexities,” says Ray Simonson, Coreworx CTO. He continued, “Coreworx Interface Management, Project Information Control, Deliverables Management and Contract Management offer an unprecedented and transparent view of a project’s performance by helping to identify early the potential impacts to the budget and schedule.”
