CB&I awarded Topsides Engineering project in Barents Sea

CB&I has been awarded a contract valued at approximately US $50 million by Hyundai Heavy Industries to provide engineering services for the Goliat Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) project. The Goliat project, which is owned by Eni (65%) and StatoilHydro (35%) and operated by Eni Norge, is the first oil development in the Norwegian sector of the Barents Sea.

CB&I's scope, which includes the detailed engineering for process topside modules, utility modules, flare boom and associated hull interface engineering for the FPSO, is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter 2010.
