FMC Technologies has been awarded a contract from StatoilHydro for the manufacture and supply of additional subsea equipment for its Heidrun North project, located in the Norwegian Sea. This contract, valued at approximately $45 million in revenue, is a call-off from a previously announced frame agreement signed in 2007 with FMC Technologies.

FMC's scope of supply includes three subsea production trees and two water injection trees to increase oil recovery (IOR) at the Heidrun North field. FMC will also supply 10 tubing hangers, six control systems and three flow control modules. All equipment will be manufactured at FMC's Kongsberg, Norway and Dunfermline, Scotland facilities with deliveries scheduled to occur during 2010.

"We have a strong relationship with StatoilHydro, including joint efforts to develop IOR technology," said Tore Halvorsen, FMC's Senior Vice President of Global Subsea Production Systems. "Heidrun was StatoilHydro's first field to utilize our water injection technologies and we are proud to be a part of their IOR initiatives."
