Ikon Science has made a number of senior appointments having seen a strong growth in demand for products in Asia Pacific and in the Americas.
Asia Pacific
Henry Morris, Vice President of Ikon Sciences Asia Pacific will move from his current base in Perth, Western Australia to the company’s head office in Teddington, UK, to take up the newly created role of Vice President Global Corporate Development. His replacement, David Flett, joins today from Searcher Seismic, where he has been Global Sales Manager. David, who will be based in Kuala Lumpur, has over 30 years of oil and gas service company experience in South East Asia, including as General Manager and Director of Robertson Group, Director of Mincom, Regional Manager Asia Pacific for OHM-Rock Solid Images and various senior roles in Asia Pacific with Paradigm Geophysical. In response to customer demand, the Ikon Asia Pacific region will be adding resources in quantitative interpretation and geopressure.
Americas
Ikon Science Americas is seeing under strong growth of its software and services business under the leadership of Murray Christie, Vice President, who joined the company in January this year. To support this growth, the company has appointed Jacqueline Ming from CGGVeritas as Business Development Manager. Ikon Science Brazil is also expanding, and has added new technical and sales talent to its Rio de Janeiro team.
