Oniqua Enterprise Analytic has established a new office in Africa. Oniqua Africa is located in Sandton, Johannesburg, and will service South Africa and the entire sub-Saharan African region.

Neil Pollock, a long-time business associate and partner of Oniqua, has been appointed Vice President, Oniqua Africa, and will head up the new operations. “This expansion into Africa comes on the heels of the completion of the regional rollout of BHP Billiton’s global implementation of Oniqua Analytics Solution,” stated Neil Pollock. “I’m very excited about the tremendous opportunity Africa represents for Oniqua, and look forward to expanding our operations and presence further into the African marketplace.”

Oniqua Enterprise Analytics is an international software company with operations in Australia, the Americas and now Africa, and serves the leading mining, oil and gas and utilities companies in more than 25 countries around the world. Existing clients in Africa include Tier 1 mining companies such as Rio Tinto, Exxaro, Goldfields, Newmont Gold and BHP Billiton.

Chris Wright, President for APAC (Asia, Australia and Africa) stated, “This expansion recognizes the growing size and importance of the mining and oil and gas industries throughout the African continent, and gives Oniqua the capability to better service our existing customers in the region and provide customer support globally across all time zones.”

Oniqua is the leading provider of analytics software for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations). The company helps asset-intensive companies optimize inbound MRO efficiencies by eliminating waste, and delivers significant value and return on investment within three to six months of deployment. Oniqua’s asset performance management offering combines the flagship Oniqua Analytics Solution (OAS) with master data cleansing, cataloging and professional services to ensure maximum value delivery.

OAS is powered by intelligent analytics technology and delivers benefits across inventory, procurement and maintenance activities; and is offered through an on-premises model or as a hosted service.
