OPRA to provide Olympic power

OPRA has received a new order from its distributor in Russia, BPC Power Systems, for the delivery of 3 turbine generator sets. The generator sets will be installed in the Krasnaya Polyana mountains in Southern Russia where the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games will be held. The turbines will operate in combined heat and power mode (CHP) and supply all local infrastructure with electric power and heat.

The units will be delivered at the end of fourth quarter 2007. In 2006, OPRA delivered 3 OP16 units to the same ski resort.

The total value of the contract amounts to EUR 3,3 million. The order backlog following this contract consists of 20 power generator sets with a total gross value of EUR 25,6 million.
