Energy logistics company Peterson has launched its Transport Request Tool (TRT), designed to digitally streamline the offshore transport order process and is the latest application in Peterson’s growing suite of digital applications.

Following the successful introduction of Peterson’s eCargo, the first system to digitise quayside operations making them more transparent and efficient, the next step was to digitally streamline the offshore transport order process.

With this new innovative solution, cargo items are no longer treated as cargo for a specific vessel, but as a request to be transported. The new tool removes the need for duplicate data input allowing clients to enter their transport requirements directly via TRT, removing unnecessary over processing in the supply chain allowing Peterson to focus on adding value to the customer in other ways.
