Senex Energy Limited has appointed David Spring as Executive General Manager Exploration, commencing early May 2015.

David comes to Senex with a wealth of technical and leadership experience from more than thirty years in the oil and gas industry. He has enjoyed a varied and distinguished career including senior leadership roles in Australia, North America, Europe and the Middle East.

David began his career as a geophysicist at Esso Australia, gaining experience in the Cooper Basin, before spending over a decade with BHP Billiton Petroleum in Australia and overseas. He comes to Senex from a senior exploration role within Mubadala Petroleum, the sovereign E&P company in the United Arab Emirates. In this role, David was accountable for all new ventures exploration activity in the Eastern Hemisphere.

David's appointment to the vacant role of Executive General Manager Exploration follows a comprehensive global search process.
