Norway-based flow-assurance outfit Roxar has been tipped to supply to supply 23 million kroner ($4 million) in multiphase metres to the production “topsides” of an annamed client offshore Mexico.

The company said it was in receipt of a letter of an intent from the “client”. The nod was “proof” upstream technology investments topside and onshore are increasing, suggesting an offshore platform and floating production were not the target of the order.

“With major provinces still in the early stages of technology adaptation, Roxar has high expectations to the topside market,” a statement said.

Brazilian oil company Petrobras is a Roxar client in the Gulf of Mexico for reservoir sensor and Multiphase measurement systems.
