Stavanger-based oilfield monitoring specialist Roxar said it has a letter of intent from a major oil company wanting 44 million kroner ($6.2 million) worth of the company’s Wetgas meters.
The company’s reservoir monitoring kit has recently helped secure key African and Russian orders, and management had said a bid contract was at hand.
The meters measure tiny amounts of water in the wellstream, key to the control of ice particle formation, rust and mineral scales in well heads and subsea production systems.
