Norwegian oil company StatoilHydro has asked Norway-based Solstad Offshore for the NOK97 million ($18.4 million), long-term hire of the standby vessel Normand Draupne.
A letter of intent involving the anchor-handling tug supply ship speaks of a one-year contract with six, two-month options, it was understood Wednesday.
