Total to conduct exploration drilling in North Sea

Ocean Vanguard

Total E&P Norge has received consent to conduct exploration drilling in the central part of the North Sea using the Ocean Vanguard semsiub.

The consent relates to the drilling of well 25/5-7, situated about 22 km east of Heimdal, which is part of production license 102 C.

The well has the following geographical coordinates:

N 59° 39' 43.27", E 2° 34' 15.37". The water depth at the site is 118.5 meters.

The expected duration of the activity is 45 – 90 days, depending on the scope of testing and the possible drilling of a sidetrack.

The facility is registered in the Marshall Islands, with Det Norske Veritas as classification society.
