Trans Energy, Inc.

Trans Energy has begun drilling the Keaton #1H well in Marshall County, West Virginia. The Keaton #1H will be drilled and completed horizontally in the Marcellus shale.

John G. Corp, President of Trans Energy, said, "We have completed the drilling of the Groves #1H and have now begun the drilling of the Keaton #1H. The Keaton #1H is the third of our four planned horizontal Marcellus wells in Marshall County in the second half of 2010. We now have both the Stout #2H and the Groves #1H wells drilled and behind pipe and waiting to be fracked. We are currently working with a number of frac companies in trying to schedule frac dates but availability of frac crews with all the development activity in the Marcellus is difficult at this time. Trans Energy continues to move to a development phase from an exploration phase as it develops its acreage position in northern West Virginia."
