OPRA Technologies expands management team

OPRA’s management team has been expanded with the following key positions:

R. Nijhuis (Dutch) - Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Robert Nijhuis will join OPRA on 1 January 2008 as Vice President, Sales & Marketing and will be responsible for OPRA's global sales and marketing activities.

Robert has held various sales and management positions within Solar Turbines and Siemens and has spent most of his career in the gas turbine industry. Robert joins OPRA from Siemens where he was Regional Director, Europe & Africa responsible for all rotating machinery sales to the oil & gas industry.

Robert has a degree in chemical engineering from the Enschede, the Netherlands.

P.A. van Manen (Dutch) - Director of Manufacturing & Quality

Pim van Manen has joined OPRA as Director of Manufacturing & Quality and will be responsible for OPRA's external production, quality control and global sourcing activities.

Pim has 15 years of experience from gas turbine related industries, most recently as Production Manager at Thomassen Turbine Systems where he was responsible for the production of gas turbine components for GE turbines.

Pim was previously a manager with Kennametal and was also responsible for the turbine development department at Elbar where he worked for 8 years.

Pim van Manen holds an MSc and PhD in material science from the Delft University of Technology.
